Principal's Message
Welcome to the 2017-18 School Year!

I am excited and honored to be returning as the principal of Galena Elementary School! Our structure has changed this year, and we will now serve students in grades kindergarten through sixth.

The administration, faculty, and staff are working hard to ensure that each student receives a well-rounded educational experience. In order for our students to be successful and reach their full potential, we must develop and nurture the physical, mental, social, and behavioral aspects of the children as well.

At Galena, we strongly believe that "Everybody Counts" from the student to the faculty and staff to the parents to the community members. One of our focuses this school year is to really boost our parental and community engagement. We need you working beside us to make Galena great!

I am looking forward to an awesome year!

Your Principal,

Shoanee Garrison
